How did we come up with this idea?

My friend Sandip and I (Darshan) recently left our jobs to work on something we genuinely enjoy: building simple games that anyone can play.

While brainstorming ideas, Sandip noticed an old Where’s Waldo puzzle book lying under my bed, collecting dust. He starred at it for a minute and immediately jumped out of his chair and said, “Let’s make Where’s Waldo.”

We pulled out an old sketchbook, drew a rough concept, and started coding. What began as a small experiment quickly turned into the game you’re playing now.

The process was so fulfilling that we often called each other late at night and sometimes at 2 a.m. just to talk about design tweaks and new features.

What started as a spontaneous idea has grown into an ongoing project shaped by curiosity, iteration, and our shared love for simple, thoughtful games. We continue to refine and expand it, adding new levels and improvements while staying true to the original goal: creating an experience that’s easy to pick up, enjoyable to play, and rewarding to explore.
