Waldo arrives in the middle of a gigantic banquet where the Gobbling Gluttons celebrate the only way they know how: by eating everything in sight. Tables stretch endlessly in every direction. Food piles up faster than anyone can finish it. People shout for more, argue over plates, swap seats, drop desserts, dance between dishes, and somehow keep the chaos going without missing a bite.
Wenda is caught up somewhere between the crowds, trying to observe the madness while dodging bowls and bread loaves flying over her head.
Odlaw blends into the noise easily, weaving his way through the feast with that familiar look that means he’s planning something sneaky.
The Wizard drifts around the room, fascinated by the gluttons and muttering about “ancient appetites” that he’s definitely not supposed to test.
Waldo, of course, slipped into the crowd as if he belongs at this never-ending feast.
